In continuing with the fun thread of fortune cookies and fortunes inside of them, here is the next one: "Faith is personal, but never private." That is a simple statement and I interpret that one as meaning your faith is personal but you should not keep it private because you are to spread the gospel. Therefore, you would not keep it private. Do you interpret that one in a different way? Please tell us what you think! PHoto Credit: Pixabay, public domain

Faith is personal because it's your personal relationship with Jesus Christ that makes the difference in your life. But never private. It's hard to have a private relationship with Jesus. Everyone knows about it as soon as you say yes to Him because you want to tell the whole world about His love for you and hope they will experience this personal faith.

That might be the intention but it can be viewed as your beliefs are ferreted out in this snoopy electronic age.

there are many ways to look at that statement, i would go with private means we keep our thoughts to ourselves. Public in the sense that we are in a community.
