I can't believe it was live meal

Few days I've noticed that this fish was loosing it's color and then starts to loose skin. I really thought it had something to do with the water, that it had flesh eating bacteria or something. Until I saw my flower horn eating it alive. I separated it to another tank but the fish died later. They were right, I should have listen. I'm thinking of having a separate tank for this flower horn before it gets bigger. It's crazy because I've neglected feeding them but it seemed this one wanted more.

I told you as it grows it becomes more aggressive and becomes predator. I think the reason why it attack one of your fish is it being hungry.

@Letranknight2015 I think this is carnivorous fish and they prefer live than those pellet feeds. I know some feed them live guppy fish those low end guppies are usually used as food for this kind of fish. Earthworm can also be an alternative diet for them.

Hello @rsa101 I guess it's too late now. I feed that fish extra three times a day while the rest i just feed two times a day.

@rsa101 yeah they are usually fed worms on them. But honestly I don't want this to grow fast. You're right after watching a few more youtube clips I'm convinced that it's a carnivore.

@Letranknight2015 I think it could have another parrot fish in there and be okay with it just not other fish.

I've seen fish do that - it's not pretty. Oh but poor fish . . . yah, it'd be good to separate the flower horn very soon!
