Day 178 Promise 236 Psalm 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands. 26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed: 27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end. 28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee. (KJV) People have many kinds of collections. Antiques are among many collections, most in mint condition. Yet, nothing lasts forever. Everything decays and comes to an end. Yet God, who created all things, will never end. He was, is, and always will be through eternity. As Christians, you know the world you live in is wearing out like a garment. You see the signs Jesus talked about taking place in the earth today. Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Every day you hear about more natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, storms of every kind. Yet, it isn’t the end. In all the trouble you see one thing remains sure. If you know Jesus, God’s only Son as your personal Savior and Lord, your life will continue into eternity and you will be with God and your Lord Jesus Christ. If you don’t know Him, your soul will continue into eternity separated from God. God’s promise is that when this earth fails, you will be with Him. God will establish you and your seed. Do you have loved ones who don’t know Jesus as Savior and Lord? Pray and believe, and you will see their salvation. Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (KJV) Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Let’s pray: Father, renew my heart with Your love and faithfulness. Let me see my children saved and delivered from Satan’s clutches just as Your Word says. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
