I'm tongue-tied. Why?

LIVING WITNESS OF OUR FAITHFUL LOVE 51 YEARS AGO (1969). This Saturday early morning walk passing along the sidewalk of Gurrea Street (national high way) of this city, I pass by a Mabolo tree in front of La Carlota City College. This tree is a living witness on how I expressed my love to my high school sweetheart (now my wife) 51 years ago. And it coincides with the month of February, the love month.
It's late in the afternoon and our class was already over. We dropped by the Mabolo tree and spent a couple of minute there before we went home to our respective home. An idea prompted me to tell Rebecca my unexpressed love to her. I didn't elaborate. No fanfare. While we're sitting together in a concrete bench adjacent to the tree, I held her right and looked straight her talking eyes and said, "I love you, Bing." And she replied, "I love you too."
I was tongue-tied. I couldn't utter more words than telling her, "Let's go home!" And the rest is a unique love story from birth certificate to marriage certificate. Watch it.
The Mabolo tree is still stately standing and sturdy as a living witness of our wondrous love affair.
Good morning friends and a happy Saturday. God bless.

What a sweet love story perfect for Feb. Guess you were tongue tied for you didn't know how she'd react. So your heart hoped and you waited in silence, maybe?
