My Sim has a freelance career

I have to admit something to all of you. A few of know about this already, but not everyone does. I have an obsession with The Sims 4. Often times, when I am here, I also have Sims 4 in the background.
Sometimes I'll get tired of playing it, but this is not one of those times. I just bought the Get Famous pack, a pack that I had before on an old computer, but now have again on this one.
This pack offers the freelance career where a Sim can work from home. Here you see my sim making food for him and his son. He was digging in his ear when I caught this snapshot.
Do you have a hobby that not many people know about?
Do you play the sims or any other video game for that matter?

The street where I live. I'm still using sims 3 with ambitions and university. I don't consider it a waste of time at all. I know when to save and log off. I've wasted far more time in traffic jams, waiting in office's, elevators, etc and walking through malls trying to find what I wanted before I got there.
Just can't seem to stick to just one sim life though as I'm always creating new ones.

I am the same way with mine. I get bored and I just create a new sim life. I also really like building houses.

One of my families has five people in it now. It started out with a man and his son. The man's name is Oregano (I like giving my sims funny names) and his son's name is Pepperoni. The man started out going to college and working as a freelance writer. Then he dropped out of college, and just wrote for awhile. After awhile he moved into a house and started on the career track to fame (I have a lot of expansion packs). His son began going to drama club. One of his old neighbors started coming around, and though Oregano is a bit unflirty, they fell in love and got married. Then came a daughter named Cherished.
Pepperoni grew up and is now a young adult, Oregano is an elder. Pepperoni is now married with a baby on his way.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I do like writing but not a published author, not by a long shot. So I thought why not create a sim with a goal to be come an author. It is boring sometimes. Like living in real life, the simulation gets stressed just writing all the time. Do you want to hear the end of this story or happy with doing your thing on this website? Tell me about one of your sims life please?

@amitkokiladitya I understand. I look back and wish that when I was working outside the home, I had spent more time earning online too. I feel as if I would have been better prepared for when I quit my job.
People around me ask why I do not get another job, or they used to. I had to explain that I was not willing to work for someone else again, that it was too stressful and I did not like it. I know I suffer now because I am not able to afford things like I once did, but I am also happier.
We have to do for ourselves what we can, that is what matters.

That is not good. You have to have interests outside of what you do to earn, or else you'll get burnt out on earning. I know, I've had that happen to me before.

I am glad to find a Sim's fan here
I like this game but I haven't played it for quite a long time already. I am not sure which version I played at last. I remember the Sims can die at last and it is more like a real life
I ever got successful life in Sims. I was a president for a company and I had a good husband, our own kids and also adopted kids

Yes, I love that about the game. You can make a story for yourself within the game. It can be quite the addicting game!

@youless Yes, I used to do that all the time. I'd be on the computer for 8 hours just playing the game, telling myself I'd go to bed soon.

It's part of a franchise of video games that have been around since the late 90s. It's a fun game because you can tell a story by what you make the simulated person do. That's why I love it, the story I can make.

Thing like Tetris and Pac Man? I love those games too. I also play a Skip Bo game, but it's been a few days since I've played it.

@LindaOHio I like those hidden object games. I am careful with what I put on the computer, many years ago I used to download games and it caused a virus on my computer at the time. I use microsoft word games sometimes, I love those. Scrabble is one of my favorite games.

You have to buy a certain pack to get it, but yes I love it. It's a game that I would play all the time if I didn't have other responsibilities.

your Sim is just living their best life, I wish I had a freelance career
I never got into the Sims, though I like playing video games. I love the customization part when you create the Sim but I never wanted to actually play after that lol

I really wish I had a freelance career also, but I don't like writing articles so I don't see that ever happening.
Before the Sims 4 came out, they offered a little game wherein you just customized the sim, I am not sure if that is still available. I like playing the sims, and I'll get into it for a few months and then get tired of it and not play for a few months.
