Taking a coffee break includes... Holding a coffee in one hand while chasing a 4yr old through the house repeating myself over and over. "Don't eat that", "Don't climb on that", "No running", "I told you not to run, now you got hurt", "That's not a toy" and the never-ending battle of toys on every floor in the house.

I'm only laughing because I have 5 children and totally get it! My coffee breaks sound similar.1 person likes this

@LovingMyBabies she's my youngest so I get that she's not going to listen all the time but I also have 3 more kids aged 10, 13 & 14 that have the same listening skills

No kids of my own, but I've been told that these are the precious memories that you'll wish you had again one day, when they are teenagers and testing your last nerve!
Hope you'll be able to enjoy that coffee before it goes cold.

I like being the aunt. I can just walk away, and leave it up to my sister. Of course my niece and nephew are 19 and 14, not so little anymore.
