Just call it luck or Divine Intervention in Milwaukee when a bulldog named Tuff went to fetch a stick when he walked on the icy waters of Lake Michigan when Tuff fell into the icy water for a period of over 10 minutes. The Divine Intervention part came when members of the South Milwaukee Firefighters were in the area practicing rescue missions when they saw Tuff having a hard time trying to stay afloat. The firefighters were able to rescue Tuff from drowning by using their rescue skills to get Tuff out of the icy lake. Tuff's owner granted the firefighters permission to take his dog to a local animal hospital so Tuff can be treated for his near death experience in the icy lake. The medical report mentions that Tuff who is 12 years of age, is excepted to make a full recovery. Now that is my view a Divine Intervention story since the firefighters were there at the venue of the incident since the rescue was fast and efficient.

@Deepizzaguy I hope he survives the cold bath too. That is a lot for a 12 year old dog.

@just4him Since the dog would have drowned if the firefighters came to rescue Tuff if they arrived at a later time had they have arrived late after they received the emergency call.
