This story takes us back to 1990 when the main character, Louisa, is sent to a Catholic girls boarding school when she won a scholarship because she was intelligent. Most of the other pupils had their education paid for by rich parents and because of this Louisa did not feel that she was going to fit in.
Her only friends at the school were a girl called Victoria and a young male teacher. So when Louisa and the young teacher both went missing at the same time, there was a suspected scandal and the school was forced to close not long afterwards.
More than twenty years later, a young journalist is running a story about the school as a newspaper article, and she discovers more than she expected to.

Yes it is a good book, one of those that is hard to put down once you start to read it.

Well had me going while it lasted. Closed for a reason. A good or bad one who knows?

The school closed due to the scandal around the teacher and pupil disappearing at the same time.
