Last night, I was watching the tv about the ancient Egyptian pharao Tutankhamun. I watched it because Ben Kingsley is one of the actors in this movie. I am very fond of him. He is a great actor of his time.
I already know some stories about this pharao but I wanted to know more and what could be best than watching it with the favorite actor that I like?
It is the story of this pharao from the time he was a child and crowned. He married to his own sister but couldn´t produce his own heir with her sister. The story is very interesting with lots of fights and killings.
I am not really fond of brutal movies but it is not always a brutal scene and besides that I love history. Every time there was a brutal scene, I was covering my eyes with my hands.
Do you cover your eyes when there is a brutal scene in the movie that you are watching?
If you want to know more here is the link to a trailer.
Thank you for reading. Enjoy your day/evening. See you in your discussions.
There is no guilt, no innocence, only what serves the pharaoh's purpose in Egypt. TUT, the epic three night event premieres this Sunday, July 19 at 9/8c! Sub...

The first time I saw Ben Kinglsey in a movie it was the story of Joseph. Excellent movie. I'm sure this one is well done also. I haven't seen it. No, I don't put my hands over my eyes. I might look away or close them tight until I think the scene is over.

I think I have not seen this movie, Joseph. I will check that out. Yes, this movie was really excellent. Have you seen the movie, Gandhi? Ben Kingsley was playing the title role. It was an excellent movie as well. I have seen that ages ago. Thank you @just4him

I like Ben Kingsley. He is a very good actor. No, I do not cover my eyes but if I do not like the program or movie I will not recommend it. Thanks, but, I will pass. Eygpt is not a favorite country to me.We have a very cold peace with them.

You are welcome @RebeccasFarm. It is not a complete review as it would get too long. Enjoy your day, too. Thank you.

I no longer watch horror, and yes I often cover my eyes even when watching graphic operations in medical type shows.

I’m fascinated by mummies and King Tut.
We visited his empty tomb in Egypt and saw many artifacts from his tomb at the Egyptian Museum.
I also taught about his life when I was a teacher.
The best mummies I’ve seen were in The British Museum in London. One was totally unwrapped!
