Batteries are Dead

I took my pressure this morning too see if it's stable. I'm using the digital blood pressure monitor which I have with me I think for about 4 years. I can't remember when was the last time I changed the batteries. When all were set, I pressed the start button and the cuff begins to inflate but in the middle of the process, it deflates. Tonk! It turned off. The batteries were dead!

Oh that is too bad that you've drained it to the last drop. Anyway I think the batteries are easy to replace I believe. The problem would be if the machine itself is the one that will be broken you would need to replace the whole machine for that.

Yes. Only the batteries have issues. The machine is still in good form and functional.

@rsa101 This one is easier to use because you can do it yourself. Unlike with traditional sphygmomanometer, you need the help of some body to take your bp. It seems accurate though because the last time I compare it my bp is the same.

Can't you just plug the machine in an electric outlet?
