memories of Highschool - "So you don't feel left out"

This evening I was reminded of a day at Highschool when I was standing around with a group chatting. I wasn't really part of the group all the time I was one of those blow-in/blow-out people in the group. Anyway, in this group, there was me, the emo kid (I say that cause no identifiers), the new guy and curly. All of a sudden the new guy pipes up and gestures to me and the emo kid "Just so you two don't feel left out I have some goth topics we can talk about" The emo kid and I looked at each other and then back at the new guy. He continued "So, death, pretty cool ammirite?" There was a deathly silence from the group and the emo kid and I looked at each other again and started laughing. Curly gave a nervous laugh as he was fully expecting the comment to get a bad reception. The laughter stopped when the emo kid stopped and was like "I'm not a goth, goths are gross." I rolled my eyes "yeah and you my friend give me PTxD by looking at you" I got a glare out of that but it was worth it.
