I have seen its commercial on TV for quite a time but I did not pay much attention with regard to its purpose. But I understand that it is recommended to people who are experiencing "lamig" in local term which translates cold or coldness. Although what exactly referred with the term is the feeling of being unwell resulting from the exposure to bad weather or sudden change of weather from hot to cold which make a person feel sick or being unwell. This may be an addition to liniment and embrocation which has relaxing and soothing effects when applied to the body. More of my acquaintances had already tried the product. They have good feedback so I am giving a shot because I have nasal congestion and a feeling of going to have a sore throat for now. Lola Remedios is the name of the product as you can see in the photo. It's described as "food supplement". Before going further more about the product. The word "Lola" means grandmother and for "Remedios" it's a name of a female person. Remedios here could also be translated as remedies: the English term of the Spanish word Remedios. I've read from the packaging that the product is manufactured in Indonesia. So it is imported but the name is more likely Filipino. It is in syrup form and its component includes mint, honey, ginger, clove, and fennel which each of them are considered to have a health boosting benefits. My say about the product is it is soothing to the throat all throughout to the nasal passages. This mainly because of the menthol taste. I am not really a fan of syrup medicines and other supplement but I try to tolerate this one in which I did. However, it tastes sweeter for me. This I'm not sure but maybe it is intended to counterbalance the tastes of other ingredients. Final thoughts: I'll use this again.

The honey would make it sweeter and more enjoyable. All those ingredients are as you said, health-boosting. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Ms. Val. Although it's not severe, I'll look forward to have it remedied to avoid from progressing especially that a new virus is posing a threat. Oh GOD spare us.

Hope you feel better soon! This would possibly give me stomach pain, some of the ingredients are acidic so I am trying to avoid some food types.

It's only a minor health issue this time so it's not time to resort for treatment yet I think.

Nutritious foods are still the best source. Have more intake of those then we're unlikely to have deficiency resulting to some form of disease.

Perhaps that's why they have this reminder in their product. And because it's just food supplement and not a medicine. Thanks.

Per taste, not that ideal but the soothing effect that runs to the throat and at the same time spreading to nasal passages is what I like.

If it makes you feel better, then take it. It states on the package that it doesn’t offer therapeutic benefits. I take lemon, honey, hot tea, and chicken soup when I get a cold.
