Tips on Booking A Trip

United States

I am currently trying to research and price match a trip that I want to take my children on in June. I am planning on taking them to California. We want to spend some time in Los Angeles and also go to Disneyland in Anaheim. I have never taken a big trip like this before (we live in Missouri), so I'm just curious as to if anyone has any tips or tricks to save money or book our flight and hotel.

There is something now called airB&B It has to do with bed and breakfast. Sometimes it is better, sometimes not so much. I have heard of good houses or apartments where you can cook your own food. Years ago we took our grandsons to Disneyworld. We had an apartment in Orlando. We made sandwiches and the children carried them in their backpacks. We only had to buy sodas there and there were huge savings. All food inside the Parks are very expensive.

Thank you for your advice. I will definitely look into airB&B and see if I think it would work for us.

@singlemommy There are other places you can look online if you want to rent an apartment for some days.
