My Sister's House Was Burgled Last Night

My sister called me that somebody break into their house last night. They did not noticed until dawn when she saw her bags and other contents scattered on the floor. Only cash were carried out and no more else. Thankfully that it's not big but still it's money. We're just glad that they're not harmed. Criminal is on the loose.

How did he get in? I asked because that is a weak spot and it needs to be reinforced as soon as possible.

@ZedSmart I think something needs to be done with the balcony, there are instances when a thief comes back or they may give a tip to their cohorts especially when there is nobody in the house most of the time. Do they have suspects like a neighbor perhaps who knows their movements?

@louievill There are suspected individuals. If it's a stranger thief, it may not that easy for the person to materialize his plan.

I think so. We're thankful that they're not harmed. I think this incident is going to pass on. My grandpa was a victim of the same. Later on our aunt. They're both killed. I wasn't born yet at the time of my grandpa and I was a kid during my aunt's time. This is scary.

@ZedSmart Thats the only consolation that you can get there. No one was hurt and only cash was taken. I think they should now double check and add more locks to securebtheir place. If they can change the doorknobs and locks since they were compromised already

Wow! Something like this happened to my neighbor too...they were asleep, when they awoke, they found their car was stolen...nothing else. It seems someone broke in and took their car keys.

Probably! There was a shooting yesterday about 11AM in a busy area of town, near Kaiser Permanente medical building! No one got shot, but 2 people injured with shattered glass from the shooting into 2 cars!
A 1-year-old boy was injured by broken glass in the melee.
