I have another house which use for rental. We get a good amount monthly and it has been a great help for family's finances. It has been. It has been 8 years that we have been receiving good money from that small investment.
In the span of 8 years, I had three tenants already including this latest which will be leaving this month. The first tenant was my niece who although a good payer, was not able to keep the house in a good shape. They left the place after 5 years.
the second one lasted for almost more than two years. I had no problem with them at all.The latest one only started staying last September. They will not be able to finish the contract because they said that they had an emergency in the family. They still owe us 2 month delayed payment and they need to settle it before they can finally leave. They are quite giving a headache but its a good thing that its hubby who talk to them for the final arrangement.

Sometimes it's a blessing when tenants who give us a headache finally go.

I too have two houses on rent and one of them is in same apartment complex. We had few changes in tenants. We are lucky that all our tenants kept the house in good shape and paid on time. I am the one who deals with them.

I am also dealing with them but if there are problems like these, it is my husband's call.

Having tenants is a good source of monthly income. I hope the issue gets solved soon.
