I don't have to have a blood test!

My Mum went to the Doctors today to put in my repeat prescription and to book a blood test each for herself and me. I was told around July last year to reduce my dosage at the weekends and then go back for a blood test in January to see how the new dosage was doing. I forgot so my Mum was going to book my blood test up for me today. She came back from the Doctors and said guess who's a jammy person? I said what? She said you don't have to go for a blood test. The receptionist said it wasn't on the computer so she doesn't think you need to go for one. I said but the Doctor said over the phone that I needed to go for a blood test in January to see how my dosage was doing. Mum said she'd told that to the receptionist but she said well it's not on the computer. So I'm not going for a blood test! (Not until July when my next proper review is anyway!)
