Leftover food from the Hard Rock Cafe in Miami going to feed needy people

I am really impressed that the organizers of the National Football League are seeing the light that they should assist the local community in Miami at the conclusion of Super Bowl 54 which was played at the Hard Rock Café recently. In the past the food that was left over from previous Super Bowls went to a landfill. However thanks to NFL Green which has teamed up with Centerplate and Food Rescue U S to have the food that was not eaten at the Hard Rock Face sent to several food banks and homeless shelters in the Miami area. Thank you National Football League for doing this kind gesture to persons who really need to have a nice meal in their city that they cannot afford to buy in the supermarkets.

I like the idea of the NFL and other food related businesses to assist the homeless and hungry in their communities.

I agree with you since the league has been giving lip service that they care for the needy and homeless.

It is a great act. Can't think of food being wasted when so many people world over face malnutrition, some even die in absence of it.

I am thinking that it is about time that sports organizations learn to give back to their communities.
