I almost skipped this post due to time, but I decided to go ahead and post it, since the subject already came up in the Daily Blogging Challenge. For today's A to Z of Me Challenge, it's D is For Daddy's Girl. My Daddy passed away on June 27th, 2013, of lung cancer, after being on life support for several days. I'll spare everyone the depressing details though. My Daddy is the one who introduced me to working from home. I found Textbroker on my own, but he introduced me to Fiverr. Unfortunately, it took me until years after his passing to work up the nerve to make the leap on Fiverr, but I'd like to think he's watching over me... and proud of me for becoming a level two seller. Daddy was there for me when I had to get eye surgery as a child (three times), and when I'd have to get a shot (I used to be terrified of needles. I'm not as bad now, but I still don't like them). I miss him to pieces. I know he's watching over us, and I know he's not in pain anymore, but I still miss him. I'm going to wrap this up, as I have one more post to make before calling it a night.
