Day 189
Promise 247
Psalm 109:31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul. (KJV)
You know people who rub you the wrong way. When you interact, it’s like sandpaper on a smooth surface.
David knew many people who oppressed the poor and needy and asked God to bring justice against them and save those who trusted in Him.
As Christians, you know Satan will bring people against you who will mock your faith, and condemn everything you do. God promised to go to battle on your behalf and deliver you out of his hands. There is only one thing you need to do. Pray. Remind God of His promise to protect you from Satan’s persecution.
Whenever David faced opposition, he prayed. He reminded God of His promises to keep him safe and deliver him out of his enemy’s hands. David faced a lot of opposition. He always prayed and sought God’s mercy, grace, and protection from his enemies.
When was the last time you prayed when Satan came against you? Or did you allow Satan to bully you and treat you with disrespect because you are a child of the King? You need to stand your ground against Satan and the only way you can do that is through prayer.
Let’s pray: Father, too many times I allowed Satan to beat me up and mock my faith in You. Come to my defense and do battle for me according to Your Word and promise to protect me against Satan and his attack on me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

That's good it isn't. Satan isn't allowed here either. That doesn't mean he doesn't sneak in.
