Phillip Rivers to be a Free Agent

After 16 years with the Los Angeles Chargers, Phillip Rivers will officially be a free agent this year. At 38 years old, the rumor had started floating that he was parting with the Chargers franchise when he moved from San Diego to Florida. I could name his stats but I don't think he's done yet. The questions we're asking right now are: Where will he go? Does this move to Florida maybe mean Miami will pick him up? I can't wait to see because I think he may still have a few good seasons left in him. *picture from google

Free agent means he can go somwhere else without compensation.

I think so. The main thing I get from it is that he can go somewhere else. There's restricted and unrestricted free agent and I'm not even sure what the difference is.

@JordanLader Me neither. I understand soccer rules, not so much football.

@mrki444 I learn more about football every year and watch more and more of it. It's the only sport I watch
