Well, at least Linda’s heard of this one. (Linda and I always tease each other about my esoteric and obscure tastes in music.) I’m pretty sure everyone knew this guy would show up on the list, and when he wasn’t in the alphabetical list you knew it’d be top ten. Top ten, indeed! Here’s today’s rock song with “love” in the title. #3: Burning Love - Elvis Presley I think I’ve made it obvious that I kinda like this song. It was on the “more cowbell” countdown (the cowbell comes in at the start of the second verse...Christopher Walken wasn’t around to tell them more cowbell when this was recorded ). It was on the “Burning” countdown. It was on the favorite Elvis songs countdown. Nah, don’t care for this one. There were plenty of songs with “love” in the title to pick from Elvis, but this is a “favorites” countdown, not the “sentimental love song” countdown. So sing along with the King of Rock and Roll.
