90’s Kids, Do you still remember them?

Rugrats Nickelodeon

For sure the 90’s is an experimental era when it comes to cartoons. Indeed there were a lot of TV-networks that has cartoon shows as their main shows. One cartoon series that most likely sets in my mind when I think of 90s shows are “The Rugrats”. Rugrats' reveals the world from a baby's point of view. Everything looks bigger, more mysterious and uncontrollable. Rugrat’s characters is about 4 babies, Tommy Pickles, Chuckie Finster, and Phil and Lil Deville. And toddler Angelica that includes a baby’s life as we get to hear them talk. The show first aired on August 1991 and closes on its final episode August of 2004. Rugrats is a classic childhood cartoon TV-show in the Nickelodeon network. It’s unique compared to the network’s other shows. Do you still remember the show? Did you grow up knowing them characters?

I love watching that cartoon while babysitting my young relatives . I persuaded the recent lot, the kids born in the last decade, they were not keen however (to my surprise).

Yeah they were more wholesome then the rest of the Nickelodeon cartoons lol I like the plot of this series and Tommy is a good choice! He's like the leader of the group and take initiative especially when they have problems. He pacify Chuckie when he has his tantrums. Thanks for your reply!

@StyleWithSense it was a different world. Our first TV when i was little was B&W.
14 Feb 20
Purple Dinosaur? you mean Barney? lol i'm confused. But thanks for your comment! Yes, these type of shows are such a nostalgia to 90s kids. Nowadays everything just falls under like, share and subscribe. unlike the days where cable tv was just simple and nothing to be serious of.

Used to love this show and liked the movie as well as more of a nostalgia factor. I like the way you put it that the '90s were an experimental time for cartoons, feels pretty accurate especially considering that is when Pokemon, Transformers and I'm sure plenty of other big-name brands really picked up steam and remain popular now. Rugrats did well to bring a new perspective to a story.

So true! It was an experimental era for cartoons most especially it's plot and it's storyline. This was really a nostalgia moment. Thanks for your lovely response!
