World War Z by Max Brooks was published in 2006, and remains one of my favorite zombie books.
Within the book are stories told by many different individuals, and we learn how the war started and progressed and ultimately how it all ended in victory.
It differs greatly from the movie, though both are impressive and the movie stars Brad Pitt, yet I like the book better.
I've waited for the film World War Z number 2, but now I'm reading that it may never happen.

It talks about the perspective from people all over the world from the beginning until the end of the war.

Glad you're enjoying the books. I was never into zombies and have not watched any zombie movies either
