She Lost My Receipt

I had brought a towel set for my pastor's bathroom. So the woman told me she would give me my money back. For buying the bathroom set. So when I went to her and asked her about the receipt. She told me that someone lost the receipt. So that means I won't get my money back. Some people just can't be trusted and I will never buy anything for anyone again. I am over with helping other people that can't be trusted.

Losing the receipt is the lady's responsibility. You should take your money back. However to be safe, I always take a picture in my phone when it's something important because I assume that sometimes things get misplaced and I want to be on the safe side.

@TLilly15 You can check with the store if they keep records with the date and time of your purchase. Not sure if they will be willing to help.
