Drew Brees to Make a Comeback...Or Retire?

Drew Brees has finally spoke up as to what he plans on doing this year. Not that anyone else is elaborating on these plans as of yet. They just want to keep you on the edge of your seat until a choice is made. It was announced that Brees will either come back as a Saint or he will retire. Much like Eli Manning did just a few weeks earlier. I'm not sure what the Saints will do without him. I know that it will be weird to see a New Orleans Saints team without Drew Brees as Quarterback. *picture from google

If Drew decides to retire from playing in the National Football League, I would not blame him since he has a restaurant that he owns or has given permission to use his name. Better to leave on top better have the media start their crocodile tears routine that Drew looked bad playing football past his prime. Who would replace Drew is anyone guess.

I think Brees could make another run but that'll be between him and the team. As for who would replace him... Well you're right about it being anyone's guess because all three QB's are free agents this year. I knew about Brees and Hill going into the off season but I just learned about Bridgewater.

@JordanLader According to a news report on ESPN this morning, Drew said he will return for his 20th season. Will it be his farewell is up in the air.

@Deepizzaguy It came through on ESPN last night and I'm excited for him. They have to work out a contract but he'll be back. The question now is where will Teddy Bridgewater go because they say financially it would be better to go with Taysom Hill than Bridgewater.
