Mary Fiore is the full-deal, spot-on wedding planner. She has on her nice, neat suit; and when she's attending a wedding that she's planned, she has her cell phone, headset, clipboard, walkie-talkie and video crew..Do you need a quick repair? She carries Super-Glue for just that occasion. Did the wedding car get a flat tire? That's OK...She probably has a spare in her jacket.
Mary wants to be a partner in the wedding planning business; and she has reeled in the bride that just might do it for her...Society catering heiress Fran Donolly has hired Mary to be her wedding planner. Mary is always the planner...never the bride.
Mary Fiore, the consummate wedding planner, is on her cell phone in the middle of the street. A distracted taxi driver hits a dumpster which starts careening down the hill, headed for Mary who has now caught the heel of her shoe in a manhole cover. Mary tries to free her shoe but to no avail. All of a sudden a man throws himself at her and knocks her out of the way of the dumpster. He lands on top of her. She opens her eyes, thanks the man and passes out.
Do you want to find out what happens? Or how this story ends? Then you need to watch the movie. I honestly don't know why this movie had so many negative reviews. It's not that bad! It is what it is. Probably more of a "chick flick", although my husband enjoyed it too. It's not the best movie I've ever seen, nor is it the worst. It's a good movie to watch when there's nothing else on.
This movie is rated PG-13.
