I watched Mulholland Drive, a movie directed by David Lynch which stars Naomi Watts, after reading the hype about this movie online. This movie appears in so many lists that I often wonder what’s so great about it.
I finally watched it and it left me so confused. I don’t know what’s the movie about. I had to look up online for an explanation of the movie. Apparently, the director wasn’t much help. So I found a YouTube video that explains the movie quite well. Now I understand but then it was her interpretation. Others interpret the movie differently. But I feel her interpretation is quite satisfactory.
Has anyone watched this movie? What do you think of this movie?

I watched this movie when it first came out, it was more than a decade ago. I was a student back then. I still remember it because I was also super confused and didn't understand what happened. I would watch it again, maybe now it will be less confusing.

@UmiNoor When the movie came out we didn't have the option ro read reviews, I remember it was on VHS tape. Generally I prefer to watch the movie and have my point of view before reading the explanation. Otherwise I will have to follow other people's interpretations throughout the movie and it won't be the same.

It started out quite straightforward in the beginning but towards the end, it got really confusing. I was just curious and that was why I watched the movie. People are praising it and saying that it’s one of the best movies of the 20th Century so I just want to know what’s all the hype’s about.

Mulholland Drive was directed by David Lynch not Fincher. Anything by Lynch is confounding.
