NFL to Extend Playoffs

I learned yesterday that the NFL is talking about extending the Playoff this year. Instead of having six teams from the conference, they want to add a seventh and instead of the top two teams getting first round bye weeks, it would only be one team. It won't add any extra games or prolong the season at all. I'm not sure how I feel about this right now. I mean, why mess with something that doesn't need to be fixed. I've seen mixed responses about it and a lot actually say that they aren't for it. They want the post season to be reserved for the best and this is possibly opening it up to the just decent teams in the league. I've been an avid football fan for the last 8 years. I was a fan before that but I've been immersed in the game for 8 years. I really don't want to see the change but it looks like we may not have a voice in it. They say that the talks for it are almost done. What do you think? *picture from google
