It's one of Indonesian dessert called "Kolak Pisang" It made from banana with coconut milk and palm sugar. While most of the dessert tends to be served in cold temperatures, this one is best while it still hot. It's like eating a sweet soup You also can add bread to the soup once you finished the banana. This food also one of the signature dishes from my father home town called "Bukittinggi, West Sumatra". One of my favorite Indonesian dessert and really recommend if you like banana and sweet things. Do you have any favorite dessert from your hometown?

Minatamis
We have a similar Filipino dish here that is called "Minatamis" It has also the same texture and is the same ingredients wherein you have ripe Banana Plantains and mixed it with Brown sugar or condensed Milk.

Wow! Since our country quite close, it makes sense we might have similar foods. Btw, from the picture you sent it looks like the banana being fried fried, is it right?

@StyleWithSense ahh I see. That's why the banana looks different with mine. Thanks for explaining. I would love to try it though

@haraka Yeah our dish may have some similarities considering we are neighboring southeast asian countries. Minatamis is prepared more likely caramelized cooked in a sweet syrup with muscovado sugar and water (that's where the brown consistency comes from). The Plantain Bananas are heated in medium covered and simmer for 8-12 minutes until it thickens. Thanks for the response.

@haraka I like many and it depends. If it's warm enough for ice cream, mint chocolate chip. Othewise my favorite cake is carrot. But my rule has alwaysbeen save room for desert, lol.

@dfollin such lovely rules. I tend to enjoy dessert separately not after finish a meal. Maybe I'm just an addict of sweets :D
