Divorce law wouldn't need at all if and only if.....

The issue about Divorce Law is now controversial in the Philippines. As a country that is known for being religious or spiritual some Filipinos are against for the Divorce Law for so many reasons But I think there are reasons that Divorce Law wouldn't be really need if and only if the couples were responsible enough to handle the situation in marriages. There are many reasons too and one of it if people were not shallow enough about their perspective regarding marriages. Here are the examples that Divorce wouldn't be really need at all. 1.Infidelity issues , making sure that emotions, love or feelings must be mutual. Ever since there are some couples or marriages that they only married for some reason it could be about money, citizenship, age and so on. 2. Beauty, Physical Appearance and Lust should not be overpowered. It is only natural to admire or having crush to someone because of being beautiful, sexy, handsome, macho or even more about physical attributes. But we must remember that loving a person must have substance and some point we must be objective in loving a person not because we like him or her. What if that person has other imperfections that you cannot handle or cannot even tolerate it? Lust should never be related to love, I've been hearing other stories that men usually refuses or even became cold to his wife just because the wife is no longer beautiful unlike before. If that is only your concern about having relationship then I think being a porn star is the right job for that men and marriage is not the answer here. I believe if you are concern about beauty then that person doesn't deserve marriage or having a family. 3.Profiling about your status in life it is only normal to ask about the occupation of a partner and finances must be really included when you are going to get married. This is also for future and how are you going to live in daily lives especially if you are going to have a family. But then we are not suppose to discriminate because of the occupation as long as it is legal, clean and decent at all. Some families are even discriminating the partner of their children because of the kind of profession and at times the partner doesn't have balls to defend because of the pressure coming from the parents. There are too many to mentions I will edit this later......

I don't think the divorce law will be passed soon because the Catholic church is against it.

If ever it will be passed then hoping that people won't abuse it.

@Metatronik if the law is good and proper then it cannot be abused. But in fairness to the divorce law, there is already a single parent law that is designed for separated couples. That means the government recognizes the separated couple which would have been better off if they are divorced.

Some couples don't take the marriage as a serious matter does in relationship as well.
