Okay, I mean to post this shortly after my last post, but I didn't get around to it. Today's A to Z of Me Challenge is L is For Linkin Park, which is my other favorite band. They're a rock band with a bit of hip-hop, and other genres, but mainly rock, or I'd say so anyways. I became a fan in 2001ish through my younger sister, back in the days of Total Request Live (music video show) on MTV after school, and watching music videos before leaving for the bus for school in the morning. I'm pretty sure the first song I heard was "Crawling" and I was hooked. I also heard "In The End" shortly after, which kept me hooked. I had their CDs, shirts, hats, accessories, etc. Unfortunately, I was never able to see Linkin Park in concert before the lead singer, Chester Bennington, passed away in 2017. :( They didn't come around here often, and when they did, it just wasn't a good time financially. And his death hurt my heart, of course, as this was my favorite rock band.... and they're still my favorite rock band. They'll always have a special place in my heart. I'm going to wrap this post up, but I'll be back soon. Take care, everyone. Photo Credit: I snapped this picture in my Linkin Park shirt back in 2015.

I've heard of them but don't know any of their music. I'm glad you're a fan.

Oh yes, that's one of my favorites! "And the sun will set for you." Makes me think of losing Chester.

Thank you! And they were a good band. They're still a good band, I just wasn't sure how to word that with Chester being gone.
