KC and the Sunshine Band is an American disco and funk band formed in 1973. They have had 6 Top 10 singles, 5 #1 singles and 1 #2 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They have been active from 1973-1985 and 1993 to the present time. As with so many bands in the 60s and 70s, they are enjoying renewed interest in their music both from the people of that era and the young people of today.

My daughter told me last week that she bought a KC & The Sunshine Band vinyl record to give to me, but she keeps forgetting it at work. A couple of Christmas' ago she bought an old vintage record player for me, so every now and then she stops at a record store near downtown and picks out an album to give me. Although I love technology, and how crisp and clear music sounds these days, I often do miss the old "scratchy" sound of music played on the old turntables!

That's cool. Do you have a collection of vinyl? JJ has a ton.

I love KC and the Sunshine Band, and I have this CD. I love how the band was fully integrated, as most bands weren't (and still aren't).
