As the novel coronavirus looms in many countries, and vaccine is nowhere near as frontline for defense, medical practitioners did make a quick study of the ncov. Here's what they came up with.... For your prerogative. "Novel coronavirus pneumonia is a dry cough without runny nose. This is the simplest way to identify it. The new type of coronary pneumonia virus is not heat-resistant and will be killed in an environment of 26-27 degrees. Therefore, drink plenty of hot water to prevent contracting the virus. As long as the body maintains heat by eating more ginger and or exercising, viral infection will not set in. If you have a high fever, cover yourself with the quilt and drink ginger soup to increase the body's heat energy. Eating more ginger, garlic pepper, and pepper can solve it; eat less sweet, sour, and salty, and don't go to cold weather areas. The virus will disappear completely.when exposed to the sun." Heeding this might save a life.
A total of 79 people in Italy have died from the coronavirus, which means the country has overtaken Iran to record the highest death toll outside of China. A...

Thus far, the alarm and the fear in the local scenario has dissipated. The climate could have something to do with it. Still, keep safe and healthy.

Thank you for sharing the precautionary measures. I hope we wouldn't need that. I heard in India there are some contamination already.

Well looks like the virus could not survive in our place since our weather is shifting to summer and our temperature range can go as high as 30-40 degrees. The sun always is up on our place so I think virus cannot survive long here. Glad to know that symptom dry cough without runny nose is described since I have right now a cough which looks dry but I have a very runny nose right now which is contrary to it. I am sure that this is not the virus yet but just a common cold and cough virus infecting me right now. I am still okay in my 4th day and improving in my condition.

@eileenleyva Well hoping that I have recovered from it before any of them arrives and create havoc. I do not want that to happen of course. But I keep watch on my condition right now and I can feel that slowly my body is still fightin back the virus. I am not 100% free from it but I know in time I will.

Just the same, wear a mask and go consult a doctor. You need to boost your immune system, because if, by any chance, the ncov gets here, you have natural health that could repel it. Attacks the adults, especially the elderly with previous medical condition. Children, somehow, are immune.

I also heard that the running nose means that your case is not novel coronavirus pneumonia. I also heard that if you are infected by the coronavirus, a symptom is that your body will feel pain and you feel very tired.

@eileenleyva No, I haven't written it. I read it via the net. In fact today there are various kinds of rumors and I don't want to spread out the some information like that since I am not a doctor.

@youless Rumors are never right. But a particular condition like a runny nose, body pain, fatigue, could help someone in self diagnosis. That is helpful. One need not be a doctor in this plague. We all need facts to help another.

Thank you for the info Ms. Eileen. This will certrainly help us to identify to avoid the guessing game when we contracted simple cough or cold. I'm cautious but my fear is at 50-50 yet.

@ZedSmart Ginger is available in the market any time. Might as well keep a kilo for the next few months. Best if we are ready for any eventuality. The hot water is easy enough to boil.

Usually the virus stays in a cold wet environment. So, hygiene practice is very important. Also, maintenance of good natural foods could help. My hubby maintains chilies, onion and tomatoes in every meal.
