Flash the dragon

Well first time ever I’m letting one of my kids have a reptile. My husband and I decided after talking for a while that it would be best to change our 5 year olds a bearded dragon as a late birthday gift. He is a baby so we are not going to be handling him much since he is so small. We are not sure if Flash is a girl or a boy we will have to wait to find out once Flash is a little bit bigger.
He is super cute and in his cage. He can’t climb out so we are not worried about him escaping but we do have a lid to keep the kids out.

I don't like any kind of reptiles, so I cannot say if this bearded dragon is cute or not. But the important thing is that your kid to love it.

He is super cute. I've considered getting one for myself before, but I believe they require a lot of equipment and care, don't they?

Nope not to much. We already had a tank. We spend a total $30 on tank stuff a star kit and then we order off of amazon a screen top with latched and a light. This little go is normally about $60 but we got him for $30 the pet store had him on sale for 50%. He mostly eats bugs mix as he gets bigger can actually feed him fresh veggies and fruits of certain kind.

@ShyBear88 Oh okay I see. it sounds like you got a really good deal on him. A friend of mine had a beardie and he was selling him and everything included for I think $600.00. I didn't see what all he had, but I am assuming it must have been a lot.

@ScribbledAdNauseum the bigger the more you can sleep them for and the bigger the tank the more expensive the tank is. But we already had a tank which is like roughly $30 bucks when we got it 2 years ago.

He is very cute and I don’t even like reptiles. He’ll get bigger but it’s going to take a long while. There life spans are great for kids.
