Yesterday I subscribed to the IPO of sbi cards and payment company,a subsidiary of largest Indian public sector bank, State Bank of India. They are offering shares worth about Rs. 1 billion as initial public offerings. The issue has already been oversubscribed 15.49 % at the end of third day yesterday. Today is the last day and issue likely to cross 25 times. This issue is likely to give good returns on investment one listed on the stock markets shortly. Has anybody subscribed to this issue?

Thank you for responding after long time. In fact I was lucky not to get this stock and I was saved the losses. The stock expected to do very well got listed in middle of pandemic scare and stock on listing fared very badly. The stock issued for the price of Rs.755 per share went down up to 495 and then recovered to quote around Rs. 700 per share recently still much below issue price.

@piyushbhatia1 I had invested in Motherson sumi, Jswenergy and Bhel. All sold and at the moment clear waiting for the market to go down. I earned in all three stocks, could have earned better but being a trader more than an investor market always catches me on wrong foot and limits my earnings. Thank God I am not loosing. For example I purchased Bhel at 31.3 and sold at 36 expecting the share to slide down because of heavy losses in American bources but one speech by our PM changed the sentiments and the stock reached 43 within 2 days of my selling. If you are a trader or investor in stock market wait for the opportunity market is definitely coming down. It has started today already after 5 days of continuous gains.

I have not tried subscribing to IPO. In the meantime, I'm staying out of the stock market. Happy for those who buy at the bottom.

It is good to stay out of this stock market. You have taken a right decision. I have entered the stock market nearly after ten years.
