It is tough enough for a family in Davidson County to deal with the loss of ttheir 19 year son last year when the teen took his own life.
However the family of the 19 year old child who took his own life since he could find someone to encourage him to seek help to overcome the negatives of life's toughest challenges has started a new campaign called #Don'tLoseSight.
In Davidson County on the main roads that are near schools in the county, there are signs that read "You Matter" on one side and on the other side "Don't Give Up" to encourage young teens to seek help from a friend or counselor to guide them when the problems that they have to endure seem hopeless.
The campaign is working since students in Davidson County are heeding the advice to seek help when they feel that taking their own lives in a way to escape the cycle of hopelessness.

So many needless deaths could be averted if they would just seek help.
