How many times should you forgive someone until you learn from something?

There are many couples who are hurting each other and at the end of the day they're forgiving each other and the following day it'll happen again and they'll hurt each other again. How strong you are? How many times do you forgive someone?

I accept people for who they are. This helps avoiding the arguments, but it has to come from both sides of a relationship.

@tech40 No, I stay away from them. Healthy relationships have acceptance, if it's not healthy I move on. Arguing every day is unhealthy for me, I don't like drama.

I forgive as long as I forgive, not twice not once, If I like the person, twice is never enough, if I don't like the person once is enough.

My partner and I forgave each other and we (me, hubby and daughter) are happy now. For now, that's all that matters.
