This is our third world war, isn't it?
A scenario of global catastrophic proportion we probably did not visualize.
Nope, the enemy is not North Korea which has threatened the world with nukes. Not Turkey nor Syria nor Russia which continues to attack each other to date. Not even China that has brusquely crept and exercised its domination over all countries via economic growth.
Though it is arguable that China is the source that commenced this strange and real scary world war.
Why uncanny?
Because the enemy can only be seen in a laboratory microscope. Yet, its strength has already covered all four corners of the globe.
There was fear and apprehension the first two months of the current year. The unknown called novel coronavirus has taken China's might to almost a crippling position.
The world watched with mixed emotions. Some inutile of a Brit in London has hit a Singaporean student of Chinese descent, probably thinking the ncov could be won over by xenophobia. As discrimination spreads widely, too, against Asians, in Europe and the Americas. Tsk tsk.
Nope. Not that way. The novel coronavirus knows no race. This is novel coronavirus versus man.
And British Columbia has currently released its combat strategy, one the whole world might like to follow suit.
British Columbia Premier John Horgan, Minister of Health Adrian Dix and provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry outlined a COVID-19 provincial health resp...

We were caught unprepared from this event. We tried to stop it from spreading but then we failed because the epicenter of this catastrophe didn't take it seriously and only acted when the world took notice of it. Now I guess everyone is infected already fro every corner of the world where people converge there is always a case sprouting here and there.

@eileenleyva unfortunately that is the scenario that we have to face. We cannot do anything but prepare ourselves to be as clean as we can to make this affecting us in any way we can. If we cannot do anything we are at the mercy at what the government can do to help us get out of it.

Truth is, China did keep the truth from the world, afraid it might cause the investors away and consequently cause a downfall of their super power economy.
China has lots to answer the world.
Let's keep calm and obey all instructions from our local and national government. The elderly are compromised, so we might as well stay out from the crowd. Yes, my daughters told me that I must classify myself in the elderly, even if I am just an adult.

@eileenleyva With the rising temperatures we are currently having I am hoping it can help to slow Down thevirus since it started out in colder places. I just hope it didn’t mutate to adapt to tropical countries.

@eileenleyva and they had the nerve to ask for compassion...
Twisted and out of their minds - that is the way they are running the country.

I so much want to blurt out a swear, if only it is not bad to do so.
Gosh, the news came out 19 January. There was enough time to prevent the novel coronavirus from getting to our shores. But what do we hear? Shiploads and planeloads of Chinese from Wuhan docking and landing. Grrrr.
