I have never been to Cuba so I cannot comment on the conditions there. I have friends that have been there and they say it is beautiful. They made few comments as to the conditions of the people. I helped three Cubans to go to the states as refugees.....they were all doctors who had been in Angola and they "defected". Two are still there but one, for family reasons, chose to return. They were not happy with their professional situation there and didnt like living under Castro. But I would rather see Fidel "on the throne" than his brother Raul because Raul is a bigger meglomaniac than his brother. If conditions arent good there now I doubt if they will get any better under Raul.

Exactly!!! His brother "seems" ( i would say "is") worse than Fidel. I want to go back there with my family, but... nahhh... is these actual conditions, no! If everyone could do this or wanted to, their best profit - Turism - would for sure crash down. Thanks Bye :))
