I watched last Wednesday Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It is based on a screenplay written by J K Rowling. It has Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farrell,Katherine Waterston, Samantha Morton, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, and Johnny Depp in it. Big Warning: there is a little bit of violence. In this movie, a man named Newt Scamander comes to New York. He is the keeper of magical creatures. His goal was to go to Arizona to let loose a thunderbird named Frank. But some of hi creatures get loose in New York. He meets a muggle named Jacob. Jacob is a baker. Newt introduces Jacob to the wizarding world which Jacob adapts to quickly. They collect the loose creatures together. Then Newt gets arrested with another witch for causing chaos, but they weren't the only ones. It later revealed that one of the wizarding officers is Grindelwald. I did like this movie. I did watch today Gourmet Detective Mysteries: Roux the Day and I will post about it on Wednesday. Wednesday I'm watching Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Next week I'm watching The Secret Ingredient.

I have watched both the first and the sequel. I think the first one is a little better than the second.
