Hello fellow mylotters!! Hope all are doing well. I've been finding a lot of groups that make crafts on FaceBook and it seems like gnomes are all the "in" thing to make. Of course there are other crafts that they make and in some of the groups they are crafts that they make from inexpensive things that may be found at any of the "Dollar" stores. I've always had ideas of some crafts but I just never knew how to put them together. So, these groups have been a lot of inspiration. I'm slowly making lists of crafts and what things I may need and getting from amazon. Today I finally got all the stuff I needed to make my very first gnome ever!! After I made it I was thinking to myself about the saying "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." I've over 50+ years old and I'm just beginning to make some crafts I've never made before. So, I believe that it doesn't matter how old you are, You Can Do It!! ~Peace~

Older people should be empowered. And this is one way.

I've always heard that to. I think it's neat that your trying to make some of the things. Was the gnome hard to make, it sounds like something that would be hard. I know someone that really got into Christmas villages a few years ago, she trys to make all kinds of stuff to put in her display. She's working on making an Indian village right now to put next to it. I think some people does go overboard with things sometimes myself! lol

This is true. nothing is impossible as long you work hard on something.
