Credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, e wallets,
PayPal, Paymaya, these are some alternative payment options. Corona virus is not airborne but is transmitted by droplets so it stays on the surface. Cash money transfers from one hand to several hands in a short span of time.
What do you think?

Paying in cash is an obvious risk of contamination. But you cannot make cashless payment to the market vendors.

I do not know but I feel that this is just a business gimmick to boost the online payment system. Although that might be logical to avoid using paper money to pay and inadvertently pass on to the recipient of money the virus might be correct. But at the back of my mind I think some businessman are just taking advantage of the situation to use their platform of payment to their advantage.

This is true for any type of viruses. The most dirty things in the world are money.

@florelway Keep in mind that everything you pick up at the store has also been touched by someone else. You cant sanitize everything.

@florelway I'm sure it will be stopped. We just don't know how long it will take.

Looks like we cannot do something to prevent the spread of the virus. I hope there is still hope that the virus be stopped.

I almost always use plastic, but paying with a phone or something is probably better.

That's correct because cashier will just scan it without necessarily touching your phone.

It is not airborne. I thought we can get it from inhaling. If this would help then we should try it
