I'm Not Comfortable Listening with all the Howlings

It's past midnight here and somebody's dogs elsewhere in the neighborhood are howling. I feel uncomfortable hearing those sounds especially during these hours. It would be one way of their communication but there's a belief on that the dogs see bad spirit but I would like to discount the myth.

it's the same living near a vet clinic and there's a sick dog confined there

Me if I hear dog howling I will stop them or throw them water
