Venezuela like other countries it has natural representations that distinguish it. Today I tell you about one of them and it is the bird called the Turpial, a very beautiful and peculiar songbird. It is a bird with many virtues that amply justify its status as a National emblem. Its plumage is black on the head, above the chest and on the upper body and wings, while the rest of the body is dark yellow, almost orange. On its wings they have a thin white stripe. The eyes are yellow with a light blue skin outline. Its beak is conical, sharpened and compressed. It measures approximately 24 cm. The tones of its plumage go with age, the yellow turpiales are the youngest, and the orange adults .. Have you ever seen this bird?

No, I didn't know it, so thanks for sharing :) I actually did dome more research and observed the picture you shared doesn't do it justice - it's even more gorgeous than that.
My country's national bird is the Kori Bustard. Here's a picture:

I have not seen the Turpial. However when I lived in Panama, I did see a lot of toucans and macaws.

@Aleskys I know what you mean since I have seen both the macaws and toucans in person.
