Because it's a pandemic, officials are preparing for what to do. Locally, on Oahu, many cancellations, like the St. Patrick's day block party, Merry Monarch Festival, sports at UH all cancelled (teams in the top 5 brackets too
), virtual education classes at University of Hawaii is being talked about if things don't improve(I wonder what the people will do if they don't have computers?) and many shops zipping emails or going on the news about how they are sanitizing and keeping things cleaner, so safe to shop.

But got to keep stable and keep our wits about us, so we can make informed decisions.

I can understand why places are being shut down. You don't know who's infected already, and someone who is at high risk cannot afford to get it. With that being said, I'm being careful because my Mom is 69yrs old and a heart patient, the last thing I want to do is bring it home to her.

@carebear29 I can't complain, not on my end. It sucks but I'll do what's needed to ensure my Mother doesn't catch it. There's nothing I need from Wal-Mart right now that I couldn't go during limited hours, from that's only from my point of view, I can't speak for anyone else.

@carebear29 We'll see what happens. And then (assuming we're not overrun by mushrooms), we'll become Monday quarterbacks.

We are concerned, cautious but not panicked. We are stocked up for 2-3 weeks if need be. It's not in our county; but it's just a matter of time before it is. Stay safe and healthy!

I hope it helps. But it will be difficult to keep the children at home

Schools will be closed here within a week. Fortunately I don't have to go out to work so no change really.
