I went to the Health Center via Lyft, picked up my medication, then took the bus to the nearest shopping center, because I had called and found out that one of the stores I like there, Trader Joe's, accepts EBT cards. I'd brought two bags with me, which got full pretty fast -- especially since I had a blanket in there that I had tried to sell at a consignment store in the same shopping center, but they didn't take blankets, so I guess it'll go up on eBay. I went over to the Safeway shopping center to catch the bus home, and then lugged the two bags home. Not long after I got home, my brother's girlfriend called and asked if I needed anything. Well, I realized as I was walking home that I had forgotten to pick up a large Easter basket for people to put their eggs in that we're collecting for the Easter egg hunt next Sunday, so I told her about that. She said she was at Michael's crafts and would be happy to check for me, then swing by after. We may do another shopping trip after she comes over, because while I got quite a few things at Trader Joe's, I still have plenty on my EBT card and could use more--especially if there's a vehicle to put it in ! I had a granola bar when I got home, but haven't really had "lunch" yet, so I'll try to find something to eat after this. Things aren't going "exactly" the way I planned today, but I picked up my meds and did a little shopping and am getting some laundry done. I hope that you are getting everything done today that you have wanted to in your part of myLot land !
