Since in her assignment there was word problem involved, now I used the real objects as I can so that my daughter can literally imagine and understand the word problem. As a kid I want her to visualize the story of the word problem. There was an object that I cannot literally provide since it needs to have 10 pillows so what I did was to scan an illustration then use it for the word problem. I also provide the character toys collected from the fast food chain then I name or label them into different or names depending on the word problem. I've created more other story so that my daughter won't be bored. She enjoys somehow a bit story telling and she understands more about the equation. When there was biscuit involved I put name tag on her then she literally eat the biscuit to know how many have eaten and left then that is the difference or the answer.

That’s so great to do (:
Especially because not all people will learn just visual some are hands on or both

I myself when I was a kid I am not good in comprehending the word problem. This is the reason that I am really focusing my kid in teaching her the assignment.

@Dyvette16 Thank you so much, I really want to help other parents too regarding this so that it won't be complicated for them on how to teach
