Went for a Walk

Sonora, California
March 20, 2020 4:53pm CST
Greetings from Little Columbia California home of the 1849 Gold Rush, we are on a Statewide Lock Down but our governor encourages going for walks and getting exercise, so I walked to Old Town, and since parks are on the approved list I headed to Old Town, which was kind of surreal, there are a few places open, a self guided museum called the Native Daughters if the Gold West, our Blacksmith because horses still need shoes, or shoe repairs, and The Mercantile which is a grocery store so it's allowed! Anyway my heart breaks for all those who are loosing business, but glad they are being safe. I'm planning on going to my favorite tea house after this is all over!

We are encouraged to get fresh air, and if I don't Excercise I could literally watch my muscles either away, please don't judge what you don't know...

Being like a ghost town, businesses are closed and we shall feel the pinch in a month or so.

@Michellekidwell Where is Columbia. California? Is it anywhere near San Diego or LA or San Franciso? Were there others out when you walked or was it quiet? I am glad you could take walks. Businesses are really suffering because of this virus.
