Quarantine Pass

It's reported earlier yesterday that our city will undergo a lockdown at 5pm and the EO and guidelines to follow after the announcement. Following the announcement, streets are jammed with vehicles again and the people are buying commodities for consumptions. Panic mode! Come the time, it's not really the lockdown were implemented but local officials came up the enhanced community quarantine. In line with this, only one person per household has given authority to run errands. A quarantine pass is issued bearing the identity of the person. How are the changes and regulations implemented in your place affected you?

The barangay officials will do the errands to market, people will just give list and money. That is the rule here now.

That was what they did in Wuhan City. Allowing only 1 person per household to go out once a day. I think that is a good measure especially if the residents will cooperate. In our town there is no such measure yet but it will be soon.

@ZedSmart what is the difference between PUI and PUM - investigation and monitoring. I am not clear on that.

@Alexandoy I think PUM are those people under self or home quarantine without signs yet and monitored by BHERT and PUI are people in confinement already.

They did that because of the rising PUM and PUI here in our place. In our village alone, there are 16 PUM but so far nothing is tested positive yet but on record there is 1 pending result in the whole city's record. Yes, it's good to stay home so that the virus won't get a new host and easily spread.

A quarantine pass was also provided in our place, so far we managed to stay home for 5 days now. We are trying to conserve the foods we have to avoid going out.

It ideal to store enough. It can limit the trip outside to buy neccesisities.

Yes, and they also assign a local official to check every street if there are kids that are still playing outside.

There's also a lot of restrictions here in our province. Only one can go outside/house, curfews, scheduled time to go out like 5am-8am and observe social distancing. I heard that people being caught riding on a tricycle was brought to the precinct/police station. I don't know what will happen to them.

Same here. I think we are all covered by the guidelines of enhanced community quarantine.

@ZedSmart Yes and I can say that I liked how the government is dealing with it but I know they can still improve a lot. I doubted before but I know that they are doing everything they can for our own good.
