If I'm going to get a tattoo, should I take a couple of painkillers beforehand?

Painkillers thin your blood and actually make getting a tattoo more painful.
It really doesn't hurt to get a tattoo. Some places cause more discomfort than others, but overall, the sensation isn't that painful. A cat scratch hurts much worse than getting a tattoo.

Ye i've heard it helps. Its not really necessary so. They don't hurt as much as people make out. Depends on which body part you have it done on though.
